Sculpted Movable Wings Optimize Performance For Any Speed.

Variable wing geometry optimizes the wing shape for the flight conditions. The wings are extended to an angle of 35º during takeoff and landing to increase the wing area and lift produced. This allows the Zephyr to have slower, safer takeoff speeds and use shorter runways. During high-speed flight the wings are retracted to 65º reducing drag and increasing efficiency. The wings also incorporate an anhedral to take advantage of compression lift.
