Individual Hydraulic Packages Are Lighter and Safer.

The Zephyr utilizes multiple redundant hydraulic actuator packages to safely and reliably power control surfaces, wings and landing gear. Each hydraulic actuator package is an independent system containing an actuator, reservoir and electrically powered pump. This configuration significantly reduces weight and maintenance costs. All hydraulic actuator packages are connected to a small low pressure line allowing a single point refilling for all hydraulic actuator packages.
